First Jummah Prayer Offered in Hagia Sophia Mosque after 86 Years

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan joins hundreds of Muslims to pray Jummah in the newly converted Hagia Sophia mosque.

Adhaan has echoed Hagia Sophia mosque on Friday marketing the first ever Jummah in 86 years.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had converted the famous museum into a Mosque on July 10. It is a 1,500-year-old monument.

From now on, the mosque will be open for all the Muslim worshippers five times a day as well as for the Non-Muslims as well.

This has been great news for Muslims as a famous monument will be used again for praying. As well as, Muslims all around the world praised Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for taking a bold step.
