According to the UN (United Nations) official, thousands of destroyed homes belong to Rohingyas.
UNHCR (UN Refugee Agency) confirmed that more than 550 shelter homes belonging to 3,500 Rohingyas have either been partially or destroyed by Fire. These numbers also include 150 shops and a Non-Profit organization.
The heartbreaking videos and photos were provided by the Rohingya refugee camp in Nayapara to Reuters, showing families that include children and women are being shifted through iron sheets after trying to gather leftovers from their burnt houses. The camp, which has been there for ages, is now turned into ashes.
An affected refugee, Mohammed Arakani, told Reuters that the E block is destroyed and nothing could have been saved. Everything is destroyed.
He further added that everyone is crying as they have lost almost everything that they have earned through their lifetime.

UNHCR confirmed Islamic Information that they are currently providing materials such as winter clothes, meals, medicines, and shelter to those affected by this unfortunate incident in Cox’s Bazar district.
Reuters have confirmed that there have been no casualties, security experts are investigating what caused the fire.
Bangladesh’s government official who looks after the refuge camps, Mohammed Shamsul Douza, said the fire department spent more than two hours extinguishing the fire caused by the gas cylinders inside these few of these homes.
Bangladesh’s government had also moved thousands of Rohingya Muslims to a remote island. After that, Bangladesh had to face criticism from human rights groups worldwide, alleging that the relocations were forced, but Bangladeshi authorities have denied such claims.
More than one million Rohingyas live the comps located in the South of Bangladesh after fleeing the Myanmar genocide by Buddhists.
