Saudi Arabia has introduced a new category of luxury accommodation for Hajj 2025 pilgrims by launching ultra VIP tents in Mina.
This exclusive offering, designed in collaboration with Saudia Airlines and Al Burj, is part of an initiative to elevate the pilgrimage experience for selected individuals under the government quota.
The ultra VIP tents aim to provide an unmatched level of comfort, privacy, and convenience for pilgrims during the most physically demanding days of Hajj.
These tents feature premium furnishings, climate control, upgraded dining facilities, and private sanitation units—all close to the key Hajj sites. The layout and amenities have been developed to accommodate high-level guests, senior citizens, and officials performing Hajj through the official government scheme.
According to sources familiar with the setup, this new tier of accommodation is not open to private tour operators or individual bookings.

Instead, it has been reserved exclusively for pilgrims registered through official Hajj programs operated by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
Saudia Airlines is expected to provide integrated travel and hospitality support for those using these facilities, ensuring a seamless transition from arrival in the Mina encampment.

Meanwhile, Al Burj is managing the operational logistics, including staffing, security, and maintenance of the ultra tents.
While the standard Mina tents remain in use for the majority of pilgrims, the launch of this premium option reflects Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to modernize and diversify Hajj services.

It also underscores a continued emphasis on comfort, efficiency, and safety amid rising global expectations and increasing pilgrimage numbers.
More details regarding eligibility and services under the ultra VIP category are expected to be announced by the Ministry in the coming weeks.
