The students of the University of Maryland, located in the Prince George area of the state of Maryland in the United States, have succeeded in their continuous efforts for many days.
They recently inaugurated a mosque in the middle of the university campus with the permission of the authorities. From now on, all Muslims on campus will be able to offer prayers here.
Twenty years ago, some Muslim students applied for prayers. Since 2016, the Muslim Students Association, an organization of Muslim students at the University of Maryland, has been working to establish a mosque within the organization.
In the last few years, they have raised at least ২০০ US dollars in the mosque construction fund, with which the mosque was built.
