A 65-year-old Nigerian pilgrim was successfully revived by the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest and respiratory failure inside the Miqat Mosque in Madinah.
According to Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Zahrani, the General Director of the SRCA in Madinah, emergency teams were immediately dispatched to the scene after the Medical Transport Center received a distress call regarding a female pilgrim who had lost consciousness within the mosque.
They found the woman unresponsive, with no pulse and without breath.
The paramedics promptly initiated cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), working efficiently to restore her vital signs. By the grace of Allah, they succeeded in reviving her heartbeat and stabilizing her condition on-site before transferring her to the Saudi German Hospital for further medical care.
