Wait on Hajj 2020 Plan

Saudi Arabia urging Muslims all around the world to wait on Hajj 2020 plans, the Government of Saudi Arabia taking precautionary measures.

Saudi Arabia is making all the efforts to curb coronavirus and asking Muslims all around the world to wait on Hajj 2020 until the health officials completely make sure that they can protect Hajj pilgrims from Coronavirus pandemic during the annual Hajj pilgrimage.

Dr. Muhammad Saleh Benten, who is the Minister of Haj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia while talking to Al-Ekhbariyah TV said that Saudi Arabia is completely ready to serve Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.

Dr. Muhammad Saleh Benten also stated that right now the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is more focused on how we can secure all the Hajj and Umrah pilgrims from COVID-19 disease. Hence, we asked our Muslim brothers and sisters to wait on Hajj 2020 plan.

About 2.5 million pilgrims visit Masjid al Haram and Masjid an Nabawi for Hajj every year.
