Pilgrims Need To Take Permits To Perform Umrah

MAKKAH — After Ramadan, pilgrims must still obtain a permit to perform the Umrah, according to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

Those who wish to perform Umrah rituals must obtain a permit from either the Nusuk app or the Tawakkalna app, provided they are not infected with COVID-19 or have contacted someone infected.

During their stay in Saudi Arabia, Umrah pilgrims can travel between Makkah, Madinah, and other Saudi cities.

According to the Ministry, the third and final installment for domestic pilgrims reserving Hajj must be paid by the 10th of Shawwal.

As part of the approved Hajj season packages, a final installment of 40% has been made from the fees specified.

The reservation’s status will be confirmed upon completion of all installments in the specified time period.

If the installments are not paid, the reservation will be canceled.

The Ministry has confirmed that the issuance of official permits will begin on the 15th of Shawwal, which corresponds to May 5.
