Oldest Guardian of The Prophet Muhammad’s Chamber Passes Away

Oldest Guardian Agha Habeeb Muhammad al Afari

MADINAH – Oldest Guardian Agha Habeeb Muhammad al-Afari, who has looked after the chamber of Prophet Muhammad PBUH, has passed away.

Agha Habeeb Muhammad Al-Afari has been ill for quite some time.

He has served as the oldest guardian of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH’s chamber, serving a period of over 40 years.

His Janazah Prayer will be performed after the Maghrib prayer at Masjid an-Nabawi today, July 13, 2022.

The chamber of Prophet Muhammad PBUH is also known as the sacred chamber or Rawdah Mubarak, and it is the place where Prophet Muhammad is buried along with Abu Bakar (RA) and Umar (RA).
