The Crash
Flight 8243 was en route from Baku, Azerbaijan, to Grozny, Russia, when it deviated from its planned course near Aktau.
Preliminary investigations suggest adverse weather conditions or a possible bird strike may have contributed to the accident, though experts remain cautious about attributing the crash to these factors.
The aircraft attempted an emergency landing but descended rapidly, crashing and igniting upon impact.
Emergency responders managed to rescue 29 survivors, including two children, who were rushed to hospitals with injuries ranging from minor to severe.
