PARIS: Arson attack on a French mosque located in the southeastern Albertville city on Monday night.
The entrence of the mosque has been damaged in the attack, however, there are no injuries reported. The mosque is run by the Milli Gorus Islamic Confederation (CIMG).
According to the CCTV footage, a man was seen setting fire at the door of the mosque, the mosque management has filed a complaint to the local police.
Local police is still searching for the suspect. And ensured that the perpetrators will be brought to jusitce.
CIMG has also been criticized by the french politicians and the government upon refusal to sign the Charter of Islamic Principles of France, which is alienating Muslims living in France.
The Arrahma Mosque in Nantes, France also came under attack on April 9. The islamophobic painting was also painted on a mosque in Rennes city twice in 20 days last month in France.
