8 Million People Visited The Grand Mosque in Initial 8 days of Ramadan

JEDDAH: over 3 million visitors visited the holy site. Around 5,000 carried the sanitization process at the Grand Mosque since the start of Ramadan.

Strick coronavirus precautionary measures are being taken in the Masjid al Haram. Social Distancing and mask wearing is also promoted in the Grand Mosque.

The General Presidency has also deployed female police officers in Masjid al Haram to keep female visitors to the holy site in check with the coronavirus’ SOPs.

For those who wish to do Umrah in Ramadan 2021 must get vaccinated before registering themselves on Eternama app.

Around 5,000 workers will carry out sterilisation and disinfection process at the mosque after every prayer.

Around 200,000 bottles of Zam Zam water provided on the daily basis.

No distribution and sharing of food is allowed at the Grand Mosque.
