Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) citizens can now undertake Umrah at their convenience—24/7, 365 days a year—entering Saudi Arabia via any land, sea, or air port.
All Umrah permits are issued instantly through the Nusuk mobile application, streamlining pilgrimage planning and eliminating previous restricted periods.
For those aiming to visit Al Rawdah Al Sharifah in Medina, a dedicated appointment must be reserved in advance using the Nusuk app. Once booked, pilgrims receive both the permit and appointment confirmation digitally.
Multiple Visa Pathways
To further ease travel, GCC nationals booking flights with Saudia or Flynas receive a transit visa automatically upon booking. Non-GCC visitors can choose between:
- Tourist Visa – Apply online at ksavisa.sa (Ministry of Foreign Affairs portal) for leisure or cultural visits.
- Umrah Visa – Obtain directly within the Nusuk app, which handles both visa issuance and pilgrimage permits in one place.
All fees and required information are processed through these platforms, ensuring travelers have confirmations ready before departure.
Centralizing visas, permits, and special appointments on intuitive digital platforms reduces paperwork, prevents overcrowding, and delivers a smoother experience for millions of pilgrims.
Pilgrims—GCC and international alike—are encouraged to download Nusuk today for Umrah permits and Al Rawdah Al Sharifah bookings, or visit ksavisa.sa to secure a tourist visa.
