KARACHI: JPMC (Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre)’s Director Dr. Seemi Jamali has been diagnosed with colon cancer, she revealed on Wednesday.
While talking to a private news outlet, she said that she has not been publically active as she is going through chemotherapy for it.
I have never stepped down from my duties despite the illness.

Dr. Seemi started her medical journey from Nawabshah by attending a Medical School before she joined Jinnah Hospital to sere the people of Pakistan.
She has been serving as executive director of JPMC since November 2016, which is one of the largest healthcare facility in Pakistan.
Since then she has been the face of the hospital and the first person to contact when there is an emergency in Pakistan.
