Saudi Arabia to Cloud Seed During Hajj 2024

As extreme weather is predicted during this year’s Hajj, Saudi Arabia has decided to cloud seed during Hajj 2024 days.

Saudi Arabia has initiated a cloud seeding program for the city of Makkah to improve the weather conditions during the Hajj 2024 season.

The new cloud seeding technology will be implemented by the Saudi Regional Cloud Seeding Program with the city of Makkah as their main priority.

The Weather Improvement Department of the Saudi Regional Cloud Seeding Program is led by experts to make the weather of Mina, Makkah, Arafat, and Muzdalifa bearable for the pilgrims.

This program is in cooperation between the international universities and research centers.

This new technology of cloud seeding will not use Airplane but it will stimulate clouds from the heights, says the CEO of the Saudi Regional Cloud Seeding Program.

Additionally, research findings will be shared at international conferences to showcase Saudi Arabia’s achievements in cloud seeding through the Regional Cloud Seeding Program.

Millions of pilgrims have started arriving in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform the annual pilgrimage, which is obligatory for all able-bodied and financially stable Muslims all around the world.
