Saudi Arabia Released 49000MP Pictures of Hajr e Aswad

Saudi Arabian authorities have recently released new high-definition pictures of Hajr-e-Aswad at the Masjid al Haram.

Saudi Arabian photographers used Fox Stack Panorama Technology for taking 1,050 photos of Hajr-e-Aswad (also known as Black Stone) and the shrine of Ibrahim. The technology combines several photographs to create one perfect high-resolution photo for it.

49,000 Megapixel of images were taken which later required seven hours of work to edit. These are one of the most exclusive pictures of black stone ever released.

The Hajr-e-aswad is the reddish-oval, Black colored store placed in the southeast corner of Kaaba and it 30 cm in diamereter.

The Projects and Engineering Studies Agency is currently making a virtual exhibition to display the 3D models of all of the holy places which will include 123 different pieces from the Masjid an Nabawi and Masjid al-Haram museum.
