Exit Polls report has released the statistics which shows about 70 percent of American Muslims voted for Joe Biden.
Meanwhile, 17 percent of the Muslims voted in favor of Donald Trump, confirmed by the survey conducted by the Muslim Civil Liberties organization in the United States.
Results of 2020 Muslim Voters in the US Election 2020 has been released by CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations), CAIR is the largest Muslim advocacy and rights organization.
CAIR further confirms that Election 2020 has seen a great Muslim voter turnout where 84 percent of Muslims voted to select the next president of the United States.
Nihad Awad also claimed that Muslims played an important role in helping the United States get their next President. And also thanked Muslims to play their role by taking part in elections.
“There is no denying that Muslims played a great role in United States’ elections.”, says Director of Government Affairs Robert S McCaw.
Comparing the statistics with the 2016 US Election, Donald Trump had only gotten 13 percent votes from Muslim votes, but in the 2020 US Elections, Donald Trump only got 4 percent votes from the Muslim community.
About 3.45 million Muslims live in the United states, as per the report from Pew Research Center.
Joe Biden becomes the 46th President of the United States.
