The Islamic Information has learned that a prominent Iranian Shiite imam, a well-known critic of President Hassan Rouhani, recently visited Israel and met with officials close to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a secret visit.

It was confirmed by a source close to Netanyahu, who was present at the meeting, that the imam visited the channel during the session. As a result of his secret visit, the imam, known to i24NEWS, is known for his harsh criticism of the regime in Tehran.

He has requested anonymity at the imam’s request for fear of persecution by the Iranian authorities.

There is a tendency for the imam to be a guest in right-wing circles in the United States regularly. Moreover, he is a former student of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, one of the world’s most influential figures.
