To enhance accessibility for pilgrims with disabilities, vehicles will now be used for performing Tawaf at Masjid al-Haram (the Grand Mosque) in Makkah.
This is to make Umrah and Hajj more comfortable and efficient way for those with mobility challenges to participate in the sacred ritual of circumambulation around the Kaaba.
The vehicles will be operated within designated areas of the mosque, ensuring that they do not disrupt the flow of other pilgrims while offering essential support to those who need it.
This service is part of broader accessibility enhancements being implemented at Masjid al-Haram, regardless of their physical abilities.
