Sheikh Yasir Al-Dosari Re-appointed as The Imam of Masjid Al Haram

Sheikh Yasir Al-Dosari has been re-appointed as thr Imam of Masjid al-Haram after an order from Sheikh Abdul Rahman As Sudais.

Sheikh Al-Dosari had stepped down from his position after his four-year contract ended in October 2023.

Yasir Al-Dosari is a well-loved Imam at Masjid Al Haram, drawing in worshippers and pilgrims with his beautiful recitation. He became the youngest Imam and Khateeb of the Grand Mosque in 2018 at just 38 years old.

Sheikh Dosari is expected to resume his duties as Imam of Masjid Al Haram soon, and to lead the Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan, along with other guest Imams appointed by the GPH.

Muslims worldwide were thrilled to hear about Sheikh Yasir Al Dosari’s comeback. They thanked President Sheikh Abdul Rahman As Sudais for the decision and looked forward to benefiting from his recitation and wisdom.
