The entire event was broadcasted live on Meta’s Instagram by Professor Khaled Beydoun, which showed Shawn, and his wife, Rai King pronouncing Shahadah (a testimonial of Islamic faith) from Sheikh Omar Suleiman.
Jeffery Shaun King is an American activist and writer. King uses social media to raise awareness about social injustice issues, including the famous Black Lives Matter movement and the recent Palestinian movement. He was previously a pastor at the Courageous Church in Atlanta which he founded himself.
