Elon Musk Enables Starlink In Gaza

GAZA – Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX and a businessman, declared on October 28th that Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite network, will assist aid organizations in providing and maintaining communication links in Gaza after Israel’s communication blackout of the Strip.

Elon Musk has announced that SpaceX’s Starlink will provide connectivity in the Gaza Strip through internationally recognized aid organizations. This is in response to the recent Israeli air and ground assault, which has caused a telephone and internet blackout, isolating people in Gaza and worsening an already desperate situation.

The blackout is hindering life-saving operations and stopping international humanitarian organizations from reaching their staff on the ground. Musk’s proposal to use Starlink aims to ease some of these difficulties and improve communication and coordination for aid efforts.

Connecting to the technology may take time for aid organizations due to the need for special equipment. The authority for ground links in Gaza is also unclear, and no terminal has requested a connection in that area yet.

The world’s biggest satellite network, Starlink, uses low Earth orbit tech to offer high-speed internet services for streaming, online gaming, video calls, and other activities.

The announcement was made after a lot of people demanded that Starlink be used to restore telecommunications in Gaza. Ocasio-Cortez criticized Israel for blocking communication in Gaza in her tweet on X.

Ocasio-Cortez said, “It is not acceptable to cut off communication to a population of 2.2 million. Journalists, medical professionals, humanitarian efforts, and innocent people are all at risk. I don’t understand how anyone can defend such an action. The United States has always condemned this practice.”

On Friday, 27 October, Israel blocked communication in Gaza and carried out its most violent airstrikes.

  • A very bold move. Israel must be ostracized and slapped with sanctions for life, No wonder Hitler did what he did to these worse than demons. They deserved such punishment. Absolutely no sympathy.
