The project is set to reach a wider audience. Previously, the Hajj sermon is usually broadcast in Arabic. With the help of this project, a wider audience would be able to listen and understand the sermon in their respective languages.
With the introduction of 50 languages, the 2024 Arafat sermon will reach 1 billion people from all around the world.

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais will oversee the broadcast.
Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, president of the general presidency, stated that the project, named after King Salman, seeks to emphasize Islam’s core values of religious tolerance, moderation, and peace.

Alhamdulillah, very happy to learn that the sermon will be delivered in 20 languages across the world.
I humbly request if possible to please include Bangla language also. There’re around 200 million Muslims whose language is Bangla. This includes Bangladesh, a Muslim country with 175 million Muslims.
