How To Get Digital ID For Hajj 2024 [Guide]

To enhance the hajj experience for Pilgrims the Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia has launched a digital identity (ID) service, in collaboration with various governmental entities.

The Digital ID was developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), which aims to use the power of digital to make the Hajj journey smooth.

Steps To Create a Digital ID For Hajj 2024

Creating a Digital ID is very simple. All you have to go through the process:

STEP 1: Visit the Absher website

Start by visiting the official website of Absher (the website can be accessed at www.absher.sa)

STEP 2: Select Type

On the homepage, select the “Individual” option to proceed with personal services.

STEP 3: Language Selection

If the website is in Arabic, switch to English for easier navigation (which can be accessed at LINK).

STEP 4: Obtaining Digital ID

Once on the main page, locate and click on the “Digital Visitor Card” tab.

STEP 5: Fill and Submit Information

Enter your personal identification numbers and any other necessary details. Complete the captcha verification process by entering the characters shown in the image.

STEP 6: Generate a Digital ID

After entering all required information and completing the captcha, you’ll be able to generate your Digital ID for Hajj 2024.

The authorities have made the process of obtaining a Digital ID straightforward and as simple as possible. Generating one ID will be enough for one person to easily gain access to almost every sacred place.
