During a meeting of the Central Hajj Committee, the authority that is responsible for monitoring the transport of pilgrims unveiled the plan to ensure the smooth transport of millions of Hajj pilgrims.
The plan includes a fleet of 3,500 buses that will be making 12 million trips throughout this year’s pilgrimage.
These buses will transport hujjaj between Mecca, Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah after the completion of their hajj rituals.
Hajj is the largest annual gathering in the world, it is obligatory for those who are physically and financially capable of performing it. Millions of pilgrims fly to Saudi Arabia to make their annual Hajj pilgrimage.
