SAUDI ARABIA – During the Fajr prayer, a Saudi man shot his relative while he was praying and then committed suicide.
Ajel Newspaper confirmed the news of a man, of Saudi origin, committing suicide inside the mosque in Bani Salem village in Al Baha.
Saudi authorities are still investigating the crime as the motive is still not known.
According to the Saudi Crime Law, any murder is punishable by death, unless the murderer pays the family “blood money” after the family’s approval.
Suicide is forbidden (Haram) in Islam.
