The West Bank was shocked to witness masked Israeli occupiers tearing up copies of the Quran in the street. Earlier this week, an incident occurred that has been widely condemned by the international community.
In the West Bank, Israeli occupiers have previously targeted religious sites. Mosques and churches in the area have been vandalized several times in recent months by Israeli settlers.
Palestinian homes, vehicles, and farmlands have also been set ablaze by Israeli forces in the West Bank, in addition to the mosque incident. Further escalating tensions in the region, the attacks were carried out under the protection of occupying forces.
