**MEDINA, SAUDI ARABIA** — Cleaning staff at Masjid an-Nabawi have begun wearing new beige and navy-colored uniforms with clear “Housekeeping” identification, replacing the previous solid-color attire.

The change, implemented approximately one month ago, to improve public recognition for the teams maintaining Prophet's mosque.

Similar updates were introduced two months ago for staff in the [Zamzam](https://theislamicinformation.com/news/zamzam-well-redesigned/) water distribution department, to standardize and professionalize service roles within the holy precincts.

The beige design offers a distinctive yet respectful appearance, allowing worshipers to easily identify cleaning personnel.
