Interpol refused the Indian’s appeal to arrest Zakir Naik as per red corner notice. This request was rejected because the charge sheet was not submitted by India.
India’s National Investigation Agency has said that they will file this request again after getting the charge sheet. Zakir Naik was accused of spreading hatred within India and had been charged by Indian authorities. After these accusations, he had flown to Saudi Arabia, where prince Salman granted him the Saudi Citizenship.
Zakir Naik was charge-sheeted in the Illegal Actions (Prevention) Doing in October for direction Islamic Research Foundation (IRF), acknowledged an ‘illegal link’ in 2016, and provocative minority to take up terror actions and join worldwide terror get-ups like Islamic State.
NIA bases said the organization will acquiesce the other appeal to Interpol, maybe on Monday itself, for delivering an RCN in contradiction of Zakir Naik. A replica of the charge sheet funneled by the organization before the Superior NIA court, Mumbai, will be acquiesced along with the appeal.
Zakir Naik is presently living in Malaysia. India strategies to mark an official demand soon for his arrest.
Zakir Naik had stimulated Interpol counter to NIA’s appeal for RCN, acquiesced in May 2017, claiming that the case touching him was connected to “religious oppression of subgroups in India”.
