A video has emerged on social media capturing an incident at the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina where a woman slapped a security officer. According to local media reports, Saudi security forces have arrested the woman following the altercation.
The video shows the security officer attempting to prevent the woman from crossing a designated barrier. When she refused to comply, she struck him. In response, the officer returned the gesture, which led to her immediate arrest by nearby security personnel.
The nationality of the woman has not yet been disclosed.
The Saudi Public Security account on X stated that the Medina region police are investigating the incident and are completing the necessary legal procedures. Authorities have yet to provide further details about the circumstances surrounding the altercation.
